Bompani is an Italian manufacturer of domestic cooking appliances and in particular free-standing range cookers, builtin ovens andhobs, gas, electric and ceramic.

Today the headquarters are still located in Modena while its fully-integrated production facility is in Ostellato (Ferrara province) with an indoor area of 30,000 square meters.

Production starts from a metal sheet and stainless steel pressing department.
A dedicated workshop allows to internally produce and maintain moulds and dies.

Best Porcelain Enamel treatment is assured by a complete in house process going from pickling, enamelling, drying to final firing. Twoelectrostatic processes are available: a powder one for internal cavities and a wet one for coloured aesthetical parts. A special weldingstation for oven cavities is integrated into the enamelling works.

Silk-screen printing is carried out through two cold systems with its own drying equipment.

8 Assembly lines for CBU products: two dedicated to 90 cm single cavity range cookers, one to 80 cm single cavity, one to bottlecompartment LPG cookers, one to 60 cm single cavity, one to 50 and 55 cm single cavity, one to the historical 45 cm compact cooker,one to built-in ovens.A separate assembly station for ceramic hobs.

Two in-house labs: one for Quality Assurance and one for R&D.

The company is ISO 9000-certified and its R&D lab certifies products according to CE, SASO, ESMA and several other homologation systems.

Over the next two years, new investments have been allocated into the enamelling works, two new assembly lines in a definitiveimplementation of the lean-manufacturing project, a new lab and two new series of products.

The indoor warehouse covers an area of 10,000 square meters.Its shipment department is equipped with covered docking platforms for loading and unloading of trucks and containers.

From a logistics point of view, the plant is located in a strategical point: a few kilometers from Ravenna port, 225 km from Ancona, 300 km from Trieste and 370 km from Genoa. It’s based on one of the exit of Ferrara-Porto Mayre motorway, main link to the north-east-bound Romea, A13 and A4 highways and close to junctions with A1 and A14.
